AUSTRALIAN JOCKEY CLUB

During the Royal Randwick Autumn Racing Carnival period the AJC requires ALL media representatives to submit an application outlining their attendance needs.

If you wish to attend Royal Randwick and don't have a pre-arranged Royal Randwick media pass please go to www.ajc.com.au. Under "Media and News" you will find Media accreditation. Please fill out the attached form and fax to (02) 96638489. This must be done at least two weeks prior to attending the course.

Please note that media accreditation is available to working media only i.e. those wishing to attend for the purpose of producing media coverage. This will be verified with the relevant media outlet.

SYDNEY TURF CLUB

Standard accreditation as issued to members of the racing media by Sydney Turf Club (STC) for the 07/08 season will provide access to the racecourse and the media facilities for the 2008 Golden Slipper Festival at Canterbury Park (Saturday, 5 April) and Rosehill Gardens (12 and 19 April). Access to the media room will be limited to those personnel that have been issued a swipe card prior to Saturday, 8 March.

If you have not already been accredited, you must apply for a Day Pass for the days of the Golden Slipper Festival that you will be attending before Monday, 17 March 2008. To apply, email communications@stc.com.au with details of where your work is published or broadcast, your address details and contact numbers, along with your editor's details. Please note: Day Passes will provide entry to the racecourse and access to the Members Reserve, however will not allow access to the Parade Ring or Press Room.

Inner Parade Ring / Red Zone Access

If you require access to the inner parade ring or 'red zone', you will need to notify STC in your submission. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a 45 minute horse movement training session prior to the issuance of these passes. Special note: Application is not a guarantee.

Dress Code

Accredited areas are located in the Members Reserve of Rosehill Gardens, therefore members of the press (including photographers) are asked to respect the dress code. Members of the media not observing the guidelines above will not be accomodated with access on the day.
