Hats and High Tea will be on the menu for the princesses at this year’s Royal Randwick Guineas Day, with all ladies wearing a hat receiving a complimentary princess cupcake. This year’s Royal Randwick Guineas Day features seven Group and Listed races prize money of over $1million on offer.
The feature race of the day is the Group 1 $500,000 Royal Randwick Guineas. The Guineas has been won by some top class performers including Todman (1957), Broker’s Tip (1968), Mr McGinty (1983) and Octagonal (1996). The first horse to win the inaugural Royal Randwick Guineas in 2006 was Hotel Grand and last year’s winner the John Hawkes trained Mentality.
With cupcake stands and tea available on course everyone can enjoy the spoils of Hats and High Tea and receive the royal treatment this Guineas Day.
