GETTING TO THE TRACK


CANTERBURY PARK


Canterbury Park is situated 25 minutes south west of Sydney's CBD and is readily accessible by public transport from all parts of the metropolitan area.

Ample, free parking is available in the infield car park which is serviced by both vehicular and pedestrian tunnels.

All levels are accessible via escalator, elevator or stairs, with wheelchair access to all amenities.

The Sir Clyde Kennedy Stand is air-conditioned with views of the entire course and are available for all patrons wishing to enjoy the excitement of race day in complete comfort.

ROSEHILL GARDENS


Rosehill Gardens is situated approximately 35 minutes to the west of the Sydney CBD in what is the geographical heart of metropolitan Sydney.

Three of the city's major vehicular arteries - Parramatta Road, Victoria Road and the M4 Motorway service the course, while special race day trains run direct to the race track.

Patrons can also travel by Rivercat from Circular Quay to Parramatta and connect with a free bus service to Rosehill Gardens. For further information, call the Public Transport Information Hotline on 131 500 or visit theraces.com.au


ROYAL RANDWICK


Conveniently located minutes from Sydney CBD and 15 minutes from the international airport, Royal Randwick Racecourse boasts its prime location in the eastern suburbs, opposite spectacular Centennial Park and in proximity to Sydney's famous beaches.

There are a number of convenient ways to get to Royal Randwick;

Buses
Buses to Royal Randwick Racecourse depart Central Station from Eddy Avenue.
Buses from Royal Randwick to Central Station depart from Alison Road Randwick (near Darley Street).

Taxis
Taxis enter Randwick Racecourse via the Ascot Street gates. The set down and pick up point is at the turnstiles located at the taxi rank. Taxis are not permitted to stop on Alison Road.

Car Parking
LIMITED car parking is available at the infield carpark, entry off High Street. The Leger carpark is accessed via Bowral lane for AJC member permit holders (yellow stickers).

Parking is limited to approximately 3,000 vehicles and minor delays are expected on leaving the car park during carnival days.

Private Coaches (Over 3.4M High)
Patrons who organise their own coaches to transport them to and from Royal Randwick must use the designated set-down and pick-up area located along the southern side of Alison Road between Wansey Road and Cowper Street (see map for details).

Private coaches are permitted to park within this designated area for the duration of the race day.

Private coaches will not be permitted access into the Busway or the main driveway / Gate 1 to drop-off and pick-up passengers.

Mini-Buses (Under 3.4M High)
Patrons organising mini-buses to transport them to and from Royal Randwick are to use the infield carpark for all set-downs, pick-ups and parking.

Mini-buses over 3.4m high are to use the private coach designated area.

Mini-buses will not be permitted access into the Busway or the main driveway / Gate 1 to drop-off and pick-up passengers.

Limousines
Limousines enter Randwick Racecourse via the Ascot Street gates. Set down, pick up and parking is available in the same location.

Valet Parking
Valet Parking is not available.

Helicopter
If you are intending to come to the racecourse via helicopter, please contact Shane Brady on
(02) 9663 8573 to receive landing instructions.

WARWICK FARM


Warwick Farm racecourse is located approximately 40 minutes to the west of Sydney's CBD.

There are a number of convenient ways to get to Warwick Farm including:

Buses
There is a free service available from Warwick Farm train station to the racecourse. This service to the course starts at 10:00am and finishes at 2:00pm (approximately every 10 minutes) whilst the return service starts at 3:00pm and concludes at 5:00pm.

Taxis
All taxis services depart from the rear of the racecourse on Governor Macqaurie Drive.

Parking - General
Parking is available via Gate C off the Hume Highway.

Parking - Members
Members with the appropriate vehicle pass are permitted to park in the allotted Members area which is accessed via gate C off the Hume Highway.

Parking - NSW Racehorse Owners Association
The Australian Jockey Club has made provision for 100 car parking spaces in the Members Carpark (access via Gate C) next to the turnstiles. Please follow the signs or ask the parking attendant for directions and remember to have your identification ready for verification.
