With a history dating back to 1833, the Royal Randwick Racecourse is steeped in tradition and has since developed into one of the most prestigious racecourses in the world. Deservingly granted the right to the title of 'Royal' by Queen Elizabeth II in 1992, the racecourse has since continued to up stand it's commitment to excellence and dedication to the sport of horse racing.
The Australian Jockey Club's (AJC) ambition is to present one of the world’s premier thoroughbred racing experiences. It strives to achieve this by showcasing quality racing, the finest carnivals and events and by providing superior customer service to members, owners, trainers, sponsors, stakeholders and guests.
The AJC conducts approximately 60 race meetings each year at its two racecourses; the prestigious Royal Randwick and the outer-metropolitan course Warwick Farm, and holds two major racing carnivals throughout the year, the Tooheys New Royal Randwick Carnival and the AJC Spring Carnival.
The Australian Jockey Club's Autumn and Spring Carnivals provide the ideal occasion for an exciting day out, while watching Australia's top racing champions, jockeys and trainers in action.

The Randwick Pavilion
Undoubtedly one of Sydney's premier large-scale venues, the Randwick Pavilion has played host to numerous headline events since it opened in Year 2000.
Featuring a newly upgraded audio system, front and rear stage trusses and an impressive 18-metre high raked ceiling, this venue provides unrivalled facilities for gala balls, exhibitions, fund-raising events and product launches. With 1700 square metres of pillar less and carpeted floor space, in recent years it has been transformed into a boxing venue, car showroom and an Australian ecological landscape.
Catering for up to 950 guests, the Randwick Pavilion is the ideal venue for those wishing to host a memorable event in a state-of-the-art facility.
