To support the promotion of this Sunday’s thoroughbred meeting at Gosford, the NSW TAB is running a Sunday Specials promotion, with a commission reduction program on Duets.

Duets on all races at the Gosford meeting will have 0% commission, which will result in bigger Duet dividends for customers.

The dividends displayed on the final results screens will incorporate the commission reduction.

The promotion coincides with the Gosford Race Club’s MYER Ladies Day. The feature race is the $50,000 MYER Fashion Stakes.

The Duet requires punters to correctly select two of three place getters in a race in any order.

It is only available on races with eight or more runners. The Duet pays three dividends for the following combinations: 1st and 2nd; 1st and 3rd; and 2nd and 3rd.

The Duet is a popular bet type in Hong Kong, where it is known as ‘Quinella Place’.

It was launched in NSW last December, which coincided with a 0% commission promotion that ran for 19 days.

The promotion was highly popular with punters, resulting in almost $5.5 million in Duet sales.
