With a current forecast of 21 and no rain, Gosford Racing will commemorate ANZAC Day with its biggest meeting of the year. The 9 race program will see the first at 12.20pm and the last at 5.03pm. A total of 118 acceptances have been received aiming at sharing in the $225,000 in prizemoney and $112,500 in BOB’s bonuses on offer.

Gosford Racecourse has received 191mm of rain since 17 April forcing the club to move the rail out 5metres to provide the best possible racing surface. The rail move has reduced the field capacity of the two year old maiden 1000m from 14 to 12 runners. The Gosford track is currently rated a Heavy 9.

The recent rain has forced the Club to close the centre car park with alternate parking being provided in the adjacent Adcock Park. Bus shuttles will run from 11am to and from Adcock Park to the main gates. Buses will also continually run from Gosford Station and returning throughout the day.

Sydney’s leading bookmakers including Tom Waterhouse, Con Kafataris, Bill Murphy, Wayne MacDonald and Jeff Pendlebury will field on a bumper days racing including five listed races from Flemington.

Traditional ANZAC Day Two- Up will be played on-course between 2pm and 5pm.
