2KY is now best known for its comprehensive racing coverage, but the station's links with racing go back to 1949 when broadcasts of night trotting first commenced.
2KY is one of the leading radio broadcasters of racing in Australia with a commercial station in Sydney and an extensive narrowcast network throughout New South Wales.
2KY has been broadcasting for more than 75 years in the Sydney region and, in recent years, on more than 100 narrowcast re-transmission facilities to metropolitan, regional and rural communities. In an average week, 2KY broadcasts more than 120 race meetings through the 2KY National Racing Service, incorporating the three codes of racing. A full TAB betting information service complements live descriptions.
