The Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup Carnival is clearly established as one of the premier country racing carnivals in Australia. Attracting regular crowds of over 19,000 people it has become an icon event for the fast developing city of Albury.
The feature event, the Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup is run over 2000m and will be worth a record $125,000 in 2008. Recent winners of the race Above Deck and Hofmesiter are both Group race winners. The social activities on the day are highlighted by Myer Fashions on the Field, which has been pivotal to the success of the carnival.

Getting There
Buses will operate from central Albury to the racecourse between 11.30am - 2.00pm departing from the following stops:
• Country Comfort (Dean Street) • QEII Square (Dean Street) • Myer Shopping Centre (David Street) • Every 2nd bus will stop at Lavington Shopping Centre.
